- Go to Election Commission's website at https://www.nvsp.in/.

• Visit the official website of your state
• Click on the link specified for the registration of new PVC Voter ID
• Enter the required details along with your mobile number
• Upload your photograph
• Submit the details
• A verification code will be sent to the mobile number mentioned
• Enter the code in the box specified for it
• The site will send a identity code for your respective voter card
• You will receive updates through SMS
• The voter card will be sent to your house post within 45 to 60 days

Now you will be able to open the form titled Format-8. If you want to change the form language then it will also have an option to change it in the right side.

- There will be a box on the fifth number, in which you have to tick the column to change the photo.

- After uploading your new photo, enter e-mail address and mobile number.

- Submit the form filler and add the captcha code to the format.

- After submitting, you will see a reference number on your screen. Make a note of it. With this number you can check the application status of your new Water ID card. It may take approximately 30 days to process your application and issue a new ID card.
